If you’re qualifying in 2012 and would like more advice to help you prepare for the classroom, you can join us at one of our practical seminars - free to students who have upgraded to NQ membership, or joined ATL for the first time as a NQ member.
Offering tips and advice before you enter the classroom, each seminar will include sessions on using internet and new technology safely, how to manage that tricky class and continuing professional development, including ATL’s unique partnership with Edge Hill University.
The programme will be:
Getting the most from your mentor and mentoring experience
ATL Future – get involved
CPD – it’s all about learning to improve your professional practice
Managing that tricky class – how do you do it?
You can also get involved by joining in the ATL Future Regional networks to keep in touch with other members like you in your area to continue sharing and developing best practice together making the most of your membership with ATL.
The dates and venues for 2012 are:
Birmingham - Friday 3 August
York - Thursday 9 August
London - Tuesday 14 August
Manchester - Thursday 16 August
London - Tuesday 21 August.
